Event Details
Learn the fundamentals of the game of chess or strengthen your existing game in this 6 week afterschool camp for young people ages 9 - 15. Snacks and drinks provided.
Registration is for all 6 Tuesday afternoon sessions; registrants should commit to the full series.
Transportation to Chess Camp from James Cary Intermediate School to Tappahannock Elementary School is available. Once you print and fill out the attached permission slip (see sidebar on right), submit it to JCIS to ride the bus. An EPL staff person will escort students over to the Library. Students are responsible for arranging their own rides home. The Library closes promptly at 6:00 on Tuesdays.
