Event Details
Bring your family history and genealogy questions to the experts, or just stop by to learn something new about our amazing local history. Staff from the Library of Virginia and volunteers from the Middle Peninsula African-American Genealogical and Historical Society, along with local genealogist Wesley Pippenger, will be on hand for your Q&A. Library of Virginia staff will bring their new LVA on the Go van, as well as some Essex County treasures from the archives. There will be ongoing children's activities and informational sessions throughout the day. For family historians of all ages!
