Community Connections: Reading the Past with Photographs

It is said that a picture is worth a thousand words, but what do those words say,  and how do we read them? During this presentation participants will learn some of the questions one might ask when analyzing photographs, and have the chance to engage with images of Virginia and Essex County from the first half of the 20th Century.
