Sharing new foods and ideas can be a fun way to connect with friends, new and old!  Join us for part 1 of an exploration of storytelling, traditional art forms and Native foods inspired by heritage tales and values of North American First Nations.

Listen to a tale of the Before Times and the Oneida creation story of Sky Woman and Muskrat.  Learn about the Powhatan tradition of gourd painting and try your own hand at the craft.  End the afternoon by tasting recipes developed by Indigenous chefs using plants native to “Turtle Island” (North America).
