Exploring the Past: Virginia and the American Revolution

As the most populous and politically powerful of Britain’s 13 North American colonies, Virginia played an outsized role in the Revolution that created our nation 250 years ago. This presentation will explore the beliefs and actions of famous and not-so-famous actors from the Commonwealth and Essex County in their pursuit of different paths to freedom.
